A path as much lived as learned

Sumithra's journey into counselling was born from personal experience. A childhood trauma survivor, she spent years navigating deep emotional pain at a time when mental health support was almost entirely absent — ultimately healing her own PTSD and deep-rooted fears.

That personal transformation became a calling. Today, with a MA in Counselling Psychology and over five years as a therapist and life coach, her promise to every client is simple: if you have the commitment, she will be there — every step of the way.

Alongside her practice, Sumithra built a distinguished career in corporate retail and business, raised two children (now at Harvard and Northeastern), and navigated the realities of a multi-generational family. She knows firsthand what it means to balance work, life, relationships, and growth — all at once.
